The Rotten Bridge

Story

An old, rotten bridge of the people crosses the raging river behind the Crystal Maw and blocks the way to the mountain. For new planks you need hardwood, which only an iron axe can cut, and for that you need iron from ore and a small stone forge made from mine material.

Walkthrough

1. Take a look at the old bridge by the river
   • The bridge lies behind the Crystal Maw. The planks are rotten, and for new ones you need hardwood, which only an iron axe can cut.
2. Build yourself a stone forge
   • You build a small stone forge from stone and copper from the mine, and you set it up outside.
3. Smelt ore into iron
   • At the forge two iron ore become one iron, and you need two iron for the axe.
4. Forge an iron axe
   • For the iron axe you need a handle, two iron and wood, and you forge it at the forge.
5. Find a hardwood tree
   • Hardwood trees grow in the forest on this side of the river, they are dark and gnarled with red veins, so you'll have to search a little.
6. Chop hardwood for new planks
   • Chop the hardwood tree with your iron axe until you have enough for new planks.
7. Repair the bridge
   • Bring the hardwood to the bridge and use it to replace the rotten planks.
8. Look around on the other side
   • Cross the repaired bridge and look around behind it.
